Dishwashers save energy. They save you time and energy and you can

cut your energy bill by £50 per year by investing in a dishwasher.

A full dishwasher can use as little as 12 litres of water per wash, whereas

washing up and rinsing the same amount by hand can use as much as

63 litres*. You save by using less water and using less energy to heat

Place settings: The key to a

dishwasher’s capacity is the number of

‘place settings’ it holds. A place setting is

typically defined as 1 dinner plate, 1 soup

plate, 1 dessert plate, 1 tea cup and saucer,

1 tumbler, 1 knife, 1 fork, 1 soup spoon, 1

teaspoon and 1 dessert spoon.
